We use chemical peels, which penetrate deep into the layers of the skin, targeting and treating a number of skin concerns, including sun damage and ageing, acne scarring, pigmentation, uneven skin tone and texture, redness, rosacea, fine lines, and wrinkles.

A course of four chemical peel treatments is usually recommended at 2-4-week intervals for optimum results.

FAQs

How many TCA treatments will I need?

TCA Chemical Peel does not require a pre-treatment product program; however, it can be beneficial, and we recommend exfoliating the skin using a glycolic or salicylic cleanser 2-4 weeks prior to your treatment to achieve better penetration of active ingredients and optimise treatment results.

How long is the recovery time?

Clients will experience moderate peeling from day 3 to day 7. It may be advisable to take some time off during the recovery period. Mineral makeup can be worn.

What aftercare products will I require?

Aftercare products are compulsory post-treatment to avoid any adverse reactions. This will include a cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen to be used daily after your peel and throughout your skincare program. Aftercare products are extra. This will be discussed in detail during your consultation.

How many perfect peel treatments will I need?

After one Perfect Peel treatment, the overall skin tone and complexion will appear smooth, glowing, and fresh. Depending on skin conditions, multiple treatments may be necessary for desired results. A series of 2-3 treatments applied once every four weeks will allow for optimal results for more severe skin conditions such as sun damage, melasma, and active acne until the desired results are achieved.

This is the second year I have booked my 4 sessions of the treatment EmSculpt at the Laser & Skin Clinic on Pembroke St. and even this time I am beyond satisfied with the results. Irma is very knowledgeable, professional and reassuring, and she makes you feel at ease during the whole process. There is only a little discomfort for the first couple of minutes of the first session, but after that you get used to it as it’s absolutely manageable. But let’s get to the most thrilling part: the results! Last year I went through 4 sessions total and yes, the difference in shape, tone and strength is phenomenal (it visibly improves week over week but reaches its best after roughly 12 weeks and the results are stable - as long as you keep yourself active and stick to your diet but for example my diet has never been that strict so in terms of diet it’s probably subjective depending on metabolism). One more benefit is that the strength of your core improves and you will notice more power and resistance while you exercise straight away after your first session! 100% recommended! Been going here now 5 ÷ years and I don't see that changing anytime soon. The girls are always so friendly and welcoming. My nurse ( yes, I take ownership) Allie is honestly the most knowledgeable person I've ever met, her skin advice is always spot on. She makes perfect sense in her explanations of what's going on with my skin and her results speak for themselves.
