During sun exposure, freckles on your face, hands or upper body may become more apparent. This is due to an overproduction of melanin. The ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun can cause this overproduction.

Symptoms of Freckles.

Skin pigmentation conditions are caused when the body produces too much or too little melanin. This results in Hyper/Hypo pigmentation, which is light or dark marks on the skin's surface. Hyperpigmentation lesions can be present as sunspots, freckles and melasma and can occur on the face or body in both men and women. Each person’s pigmentation is different, and treatments may be combined to achieve the best outcome.
