Symptoms of Gummy Smile.

A Gummy smile occurs when a significant portion of the gums is visible when a person smiles. A hyperactive upper lip muscle is one of the leading causes of a gummy smile. This is where the muscles in the upper lip can be hyperactive, causing the lip to rise higher than usual when smiling. This excessive muscle movement can expose more of the gums.

Our Approach.

The gummy smile treatment takes about 15 minutes.

A local anaesthetic is applied to the injection sites on each side of the upper lip. Then, small quantities of the anti-wrinkle are injected to relax the hyperactive muscle. This helps to reduce the high-pulling effect and lets the lip rest better over the gum tissue. Within the next 3-4 days, the elevation of the upper lip is progressively softened, and your smile is transformed, showing less gum, and giving you the confidence, you deserve.
