A skin laxity treatment, Profhilo® uses patented technologies engineered for ‘skin remodelling’, a revolutionary concept of ‘curling’ wrinkles rather than ‘filling’ them. It effectively stimulates the production of both your natural collagen and elastin to renew your skin from within.
Compared to dermal fillers, Profhilo® enhances stem cell reproduction .Profhilo® can also be used in a number of areas where fillers are unsuitable, such as the body.
Increased firmness, elasticity and an overall improved quality of the skin can be visible for up to six months post-treatment. However, this does depend upon the degree of correction required, your age and lifestyle. For best results, a second treatment of 2ml is recommended one month after the first treatment. Maintenance treatments can be scheduled according to your body’s response to treatment.
After the treatment, you may experience mild tenderness for the first 24 – 72 hours. Common side effects of Profhilo® are similar to other types of fillers and include mild bruising and swelling.
Avoid touching the treatment area for 6 hours after the treatment.
Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g., solarium and sunbathing) or extreme cold. Avoid strenuous exercise and swimming to avoid a risk of infection.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment.
