Typically, we recommend 24/48 hours of recovery time post-treatment. This will depend on each individual’s skin condition and skin type. Most clients will experience mild shedding, mild sensitivity, mild swelling, and pigmentation changes during the recovery phase.

You may experience a warm/tingling sensation when the peel solution is initially applied, which will subside within a few minutes.

There is minimal to no recovery time associated with Image 4 Layer Facelift Peel; however, some clients may experience a light exfoliation over the first few days, revealing a fresher, radiant glow.

We recommend a course of 4-6 skin peels at 2–4-week intervals for optimum results.

All active Image Skin Peels require skin preparation before treatment This will allow for adequate penetration of peel into the skin. At Laser + Skin Clinics, we recommend prepping your skin for 2-4 weeks prior to treatment. To prepare your skin, we recommend using a glycolic or salicylic cleanser once a day for 2-4 weeks before your first skin peel. You will also require a gentle cleanser, moisturiser and broad-spectrum sunscreen as part of your aftercare. Your pre and post-treatment program will be discussed in detail during your consultation.
