About the treatment
This treatment is aimed at patients who have visible signs of ageing and loose skin on the body.
As we age, our skin produces less collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are the building blocks that make up plumped up healthy skin. Profhilo uses advanced patented technologies to help remodel the skin.

How does the treatment work?
Profhilo is made of Hyaluronic Acid (HA). It effectively stimulates the production of natural collagen and elastin to re-energise and renew the skin. Profhilo stimulates four different types of collagen and elastin due to the slow release of hyaluronic acid. This stimulation results in the significant improvement of tissue quality.
Rather than replacing volume or creating a volumetric lift like other dermal fillers, Profhilo can create volume in the tissue where it is needed due to its high spreadability.
This characteristic of Profhilo makes it an ideal treatment for improving elasticity and tightening areas such as the arms, thighs and hands without giving an artificially enhanced appearance.

• Immediately after treatment there may be slight redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area. These reactions are temporary and generally disappear in a few days. If it continues or if other reactions occur, please contact us.
• Avoid touching the treatment area for 6 hours after the treatment.
• Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g., solarium and sunbathing) or extreme cold. Avoid strenuous exercise and swimming to avoid a risk of infection.
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment
• Apply SPF50 sunscreen
• Please discuss any further cosmetic procedures with us
• Do not massage or manipulate the treated area
• Stay hydrated
