CO₂ Laser Resurfacing

CO2 laser is the gold standard in skin resurfacing, replacing damaged skin with fresh, healthy skin. It creates controlled micro-injuries that trigger collagen and cell renewal, improving pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, pore size, scarring, and the reduction of excess skin which contributes to hooded eyes, by treating both the surface and deeper layers of the skin.

How It Works

CO2 laser skin resurfacing delivers controlled laser energy to the skin, creating precise micro-injuries that remove damaged surface layers while heating deeper tissue. This process stimulates collagen production and cell renewal, replacing damaged skin with fresher, healthier skin over time.

The fractional CO₂ laser targets water within the skin, creating precise microscopic columns of ablation while leaving surrounding tissue intact to support healing. This produces immediate collagen contraction followed by longer-term collagen remodelling.

  • Acne and surgical scars: Resurfacing softens sharp scar edges and stimulates new collagen beneath depressed scars.
  • Lines and wrinkles: Removing damaged surface tissue and rebuilding collagen can improve fine lines, deeper wrinkles and barcode lines.
  • Eye rejuvenation: Precision treatment around the eyes can tighten crepey skin and improve heaviness in suitable clients.
  • Texture and sun damage: Cellular renewal reveals smoother, clearer and more even-looking skin.

    When Will I See Results?

Initial improvement becomes visible once the skin has healed, usually within 1–2 weeks. Texture, lines and scarring may continue improving for 3–6 months as collagen remodelling takes place.

  • What Treatment Works Well With It?

CO₂ resurfacing may work well with PRP, skin boosters and BBL® as part of a staged programme. These treatments can support healing, hydration, pigmentation correction and longer-term skin rejuvenation.

  • How Much Does It Cost?

CO₂ laser resurfacing starts from €1,000. The final cost depends on the treatment area and intensity required.
