The solution causes the layer of skin to separate and peel off. The newly regenerated skin underneath is usually smoother, less wrinkled and more even in tone and colour.

A course of 4 TCA Chemical Peel treatments is recommended at 2-4 week intervals for optimum results.
TCA Chemical Peel does not require a pre-treatment product program, however it can beneficial and we recommend exfoliating the skin using a Glycolic or Salicylic cleanser 2-4 weeks prior to your treatment to achieve better penetration of active ingredients and optimise treatment results.
Clients will experience moderate peeling from day 3 to day 7. It may be advisable to take some time off during the recovery period. Mineral makeup can be worn.
Aftercare products are compulsory post-treatment to avoid any adverse reactions. This will include a cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen to be used daily after your peel and throughout your skincare program. Aftercare products are extra. This will be discussed in detail at your consultation.
Some common side effects you may experience include redness, itchiness, dryness, and swelling. However, these are usually temporary and can be treated with appropriate creams and sun protection. It’s common to experience transient hyperpigmentation during the course of treatment, but it usually subsides with time and proper care.
